To prepare for boat hauling, please
review the following:
The maximum dimension
for boats including the trailer
is 11' 6" wide, 13' 5"
high and 48' long. Have your measurements
ready when you book your order.
The trailer must be in
good working condition for boat
towing. Inspect such items as tires,
brakes, wheel bearings, lights and
tie-down straps. If your repairs
are needed en route, you will be
responsible for the associated costs.
Empty any storage compartments
as loose or removable items are
not included in your valuation coverage
Remove the boat cover
if so equipped. If the cover is
not removed it may be lost or damaged,
or cause damage to your boat to
which your valuation coverage will
not apply.
Make sure that someone
over the age of 18 is available
during the hours of 8am to 8pm seven
days a week at both the pick up
and delivery locations. The contact
phone numbers for those persons
should be direct lines. Cell phones
are usually the best.
All payments for the boat moving
service are made to JC Motors as
the drivers do not handle funds.
